Objective
Evaluate the effect of daily oral Ceramosides Complex on skin hydration, elasticity and barrier function (transepidermal water loss) over 8 weeks.
Study Design
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.
Main Findings
Skin hydration increased 19% and elasticity increased 18% versus placebo. The first significant signal was detected at day 14, with effects continuing through week 8.
